Senior Vice Commander of the Georgia American Legion Has Died
Col. Larry Hoff, Senior Vice Commander of the Georgia American Legion, lost his battle with cancer, passing away this morning, Oct. 20, 2011.
It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Col. Larry Hoff, Senior Vice Commander of the Georgia American Legion and a member of the Loganville American Legion Post 233 in Loganville. Generations of ROTC students in Walton County will remember Hoff for his contributions to the program. Hoff was always on hand to ensure proper respect was shown to Georgia's returning fallen heroes and that the wishes of the soldiers' families were always honored.
Sympathy is extended to his wife, Linda, and the family.

Thank you for posting Dennis. The Colonel was an inspiration to so many, including my daughter when she was at Monroe Area High. He will be truly missed!
