Several news agencies, including ABC News, announced late Friday night that at 9 a.m. Saturday, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney would be announcing his pick for vice president.
Romney reportedly plans on making the announcement in Norfolk, VA, where he is scheduled to appear with Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell. This is fueling rumors that McDonnell's could possibly be the VP pick. Other names thrown around include Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio.
