Ready to Lead Gwinnett Braves
Randy Ready was officially introduced as the new manager of the G-Braves at a press conference Thursday at Coolray Field.
With just 70 days until opening day, the Gwinnett Braves rolled out the red carpet for their new manager Randy Ready.
Ready was presented with his team jersey and hat by G-Braves General Manager North Johnson before talking to the media for the first time at Coolray Field.
The new manager comes to Gwinnett from the Texas Rangers franchise where he worked as their minor league hitting coordinator. Ready is the second manager in the history of the G-Braves. He is taking over after previous manager Dave Brundage accepted the job as the manager of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs in November.
