Powerball Drawing Hits $181 Million

With no big winner in more than a month, the Aug. 4 Powerball drawing could earn one winner $181 million.

With nobody winning since June 23, the Powerball Jackpot now sit at $181 million. With a cash-option, that is a one-time payout of $122 million before taxes. It might not yet be at the big record breaking Mega Millions that caused so much controversy in March, but $181 million is nothing to sneeze at.

Before you rush out and buy a ticket though, you might want to consider your odds. According to the Powerball website, for the Jackpot your chances are 1 in 175,223,510. But without a ticket your chances are zero, right?

Do you have a ticket in tonights big drawing, and if so, what would you do with the money?
