theres no way .even if u have a white hand or a red hand flashing at cross walks people still gona be jaywalkin or walkin up the middle of tha skreet in dark clothing its jus the way SOME are . ive seen it at 3am in tha morning on ga 20 at thompson drive some guy jus walkin down tha middle of tha road .
in downtown atl it is a dail occurance of people ignoring crosswalks signals ,jus screamin at u daring u to hit THEM .
this is why atlanta has such a history of hit and run even marta busses will run THEM over or u if u dont watch ur step . a couple times at 5am there some guy on a bike pedelin down the center of 78 in dark clothing . as time progresses and inner urban sprawl moves eastward your gona get a whole lot more of this type behavior

"Accidents happen"? Sure they do. And sometimes people do stupid things. Isn't it relevant to ask what we should do to prevent such stupidity? People get hurt. Roads are blocked. Emergency personnel are taken away from aiding unavoidable emergencies. Lots of wasted money. "Accidents happen"?

Poor response to a valid question.

Rex, since I don't have the details at this time, I don't believe I'm in a position to judge here. But I am glad we had the response that saved a life and I hope that should you or I ever need the same service, we are able to get it.

Sharon, you can bet your... lets just say I will never be hit by a car on a frickin highway at night. Stupid is as stupid deserves. Please do not lump me into your hopes of needing such services. If I am stupid enough to get hit by a car, I don't want to inconvenience a single soul. I'll take the hit. Some people will make excuses for every situation no matter the ignorance and negligence.

Do you people just post and read later with a smile or do you ever consider the message you are sending out? Of course if your boy Grant would have said what I have, you would place a smiley face at the end of your sentences.

All due respect of course have a nice day and splendid and all that.
