Joey Carter, 35, of Loganville, died on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at Lenora Baptist Church in Snellville.
Joey Carter, age 35 of Loganville, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Lenora Baptist Church, Snellville. Rev. Terry Briscoe will officiate. Burial will follow in Lenora Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Turner Carter, in 2010, and his mother, Rebecca Carter, in 2002. He is survived by his Sons: Joseph William Carter and Jacob Isaac Carter; Grandmother: Jewell Gearin; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: William & Sara Turner; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law: Gloria & Tracy Moon; Nieces: Mary Ann & Hannah Moon; Nephew: Joshua Moon, all of Loganville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tim Stewart Funeral Home for the family of Joey Carter, P.O. Box 65, Loganville, GA 30052. Joey Dean was a great man. A very honest man. He never lied, told you like it was and loved his boys more than ever. He loved his late wife Dottie and longed to be with her again. He never got over the loss of her, how ironic, his one wish came true, to be with her again! I love you and will miss our late night conversations!!
