Loganville Racecar Driver Brings Home Win and Fourth Championship
It was a good weekend for Loganville racecar driver Matt Reppert who took the win in the American Road Race of Championships at Road Atlanta earning his fourth Pro IT championship in the process.
Loganville Pro IT racecar driver Matt Reppert brought home a fourth consecutive championship this past weekend after taking the win at the biggest SCCA amateur sports car race of the season at Road Atlanta – the American Road Race of Champions.
“More than 400 competitors from 30 plus states were in attendance for the season-ending championship event,” said Grant Mackay, a key member of Reppert’s crew. “Matt Reppert and crew from High Spots Racing, Nantucket Garage took the pole position in qualifying and led 19 of the 20 laps in the race to bring home the win in the ITS #8 BMW 325i.”
The win also gave Reppert the trophy for his fourth consecutive Pro IT Championship.
Weekends away at a race, after spending hours fine tuning the racecar, is a regular pastime for Reppert and his crew from Loganville, which includes Mackay and fellow enthusiast Steve Mosley.
