Judge Found Sufficient Probable Cause In Everett Case

Loganville Charges of molestation against the former pastor and little league football coach have been bound over to Walton County Superior Court.

At a preliminary hearing in the Walton County Magistrate Court Thursday, Judge Mike Burke found probable cause in the molestation charges against Stacy Lee Everett, 42, of Covington. The case has been bound over to Superior Court on all counts.

Everett is charged with three counts each of sexual battery, cruelty of children, false imprisonment and child molestation.

Special Asst. District Attorney Peter H. Boehm, director of the Special Victims Unit, said the hearing also included a request for bond reduction, which he opposed.

“Judge Burke refused to reduce his bond so it remains at an aggregate of $105,000,” Boehm said.

Everett is being defended by Buford attorney Wayne Lancaster.
