UPDATE: Highway 20 Now Open Following MVA
UPDATE: Highway 20 now open. Loganville Police and Fire Departments are working a three-car accident with a large natural gas leak. Bay Creek Road and Highway 20 in Loganville, Ga. are currently shut down.
UPDATE: Highway 20 Now Open.
Loganville Fire Chief Danny Roberts reported that Highway 20 and Baycreek Road in Loganville are currently shut down following a three-car wreck that produced a large natural gas leak. Loganville Police Department and Loganville Police Department are on the scene. Roberts said the Phillips 66 Gas Station has been evacuated and Lawrenceville Gas Company is on the scene investigating.
Roberts said the accident resulted in one minor injury, but the road will be closed for quite some time. Patch will update as more information becomes available and when the road has been opened. In the meantime, motorists are advised to find an alternative route through Loganville.
