While we are just at about the halfway point of the 2012-2013 school year, Gwinnett County Public Schools released the calendar for the 2013-2014 year.

Here are the highlights:

• First Day of School: Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013
• Thanksgiving Break: Monday, Nov. 25 - Friday Nov. 29, 2013
• Winter Break: Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 - Jan. 3, 2014
• Spring Break: Monday, April 7 - Friday, April 11, 2014
• Last Day of School: Wednesday, May 21, 2014
