Gwinnett County police are looking for a late model Dodge Ram van that is implicated in a pedestrian hit and run fatality that happened in unincorporated Lawrenceville last night.
According to a press release, the accident happened at about 11:37 p.m. last night on Sugarloaf Parkway in between Cruse Road and State Route 316.
“The preliminary investigation revealed that 25-year-old Thiago Campos of Suwanee was attempting to cross Sugarloaf Parkway outside of a crosswalk,” Gwinnett County Police Department public information officer Cpl. The driver of Vehicle 2 did not stop after striking Mr. Campos and left the scene. Mr. Campos died on scene and a result of the injuries sustained from the collision.”
