Grayson Shooting Possibly Road Rage
The shooting Thursday in downtown Grayson was possibly an incident of road rage, according to Grayson's mayor.
Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Ed Ritter confirmed that a man shot in downtown Grayson on Thursday afternoon will survive his injuries.
"The victim that was shot is going to be okay. It was a minor gunshot wound to the leg," Ritter said, adding that investigators are following up on leads at the moment. "I don’t have any other details that I can release at this point."
Grayson Mayor Jim Hinkle posted on Patch that from the initial investigation it appears to be a road rage incident.
"The person shot drove himself to Eastside and they called the police," Hinkle wrote. "Nothing more on the investigation at this time."
The incident reportedly happened at Grayson Parkway and Rosebud Road at about 5:30 p.m. on April 26.

Wow. Just wow. I know THAT intersection can get really congested. There is no turning lanes for the people who want to make a left turn so that holds up everyone else. (You can only turn when there is an arrow to turn because traffic is too heavy otherwise). But nothing is worth shooting someone because you are mad at their driving. Crazy. If road rage is really the case. I guess we will find out soon.
