Grayson Prepares for 33rd Annual Grayson Day Festival

The annual festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the city's Community Park.

Grayson city officials are putting the final touches on plans for the 33rd Annual Grayson Day Festival scheduled for the last Saturday in April.

“Our food vendors are already full and we only have 40 booths left,” said Grayson City Administrator Laura Paul-Cone.

With the success of the Grayson Rams football team in winning the state High School Football Championships, the theme this year will be “Mission Accomplished,” and the team will be honored in the parade.

The city also plans to have a booth this year and there will be free entertainment for the children in the form of bouncy houses. There will be fire trucks and S.W.A.T. team equipment and members in attendance. Entertainers have been lined up to perform during the course of the day and almost all those spots also have been filled. The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 at the Grayson Community Park.

Information about the event as well as application forms for vendors can be found on the city’s website here. An application for the road race that precedes the event can be found here.

We are looking forward to Grayson Day Festival! This is the first year that our business (Best Fit Pet Sit Services) has had a booth for this festival, but it sounds like one that will keep us coming back each year. Congrats to the Grayson Rams!
