Grayson Gets First Loss Following Unbeaten Season from Parkview
Parkview beats No. 1 Grayson 22-7.
After coming into the game unbeaten last season and headed in that way so far this season, Grayson went down to Parkview Friday, 22-7.
Grayson entered the game as the top-ranked team in Georgia's Class AAAAAA and was No. 1 in many national polls.
"This win ranks right up there with winning two state championships in baseball," said Mac Marshall, who caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Rob Youngblood to give Parkview the lead at 12-7 late in the third quarter. Marshall also is a baseball player. "The biggest thing we told ourselves [before the game] today, was to believe in ourselves."
