Getting Ready for a Change in Season

Grayson Arts & History Center has activities and ideas for Fall.

The Grayson Arts & History Center will host its Fall Open House on Saturday, Sept. 10th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Barbara Hinkle, director of the center, has brought in decorations for fall, harvest and Thanksgiving to augment the artful hand-made wreaths for which she has become known.

“We are in an autumn state of mind,” Hinkle said. “Our gift shop is filled with brightly colored autumn ideas blossoming from handcrafted wreaths, wall décor, centerpieces and kitchenware. They are sure to be the star attractions of your fall and Thanksgiving tablescapes.”

Refreshments, made from recipes found in the historical cookbook “From Trip to Grayson” will be served throughout the day.
