Funeral Service Announced for Dr. Melva Lameda
A funeral service for the founder of Loganville Pediatrics will be at 2 p.m. March 30 at St. Anna's in Monroe.
Funeral Services for Dr. Melva Lameda have now been posted on the website of Meadows Funeral Home in Monroe. The founder of Loganville Pediatrics passed away this past weekend.
According to the notice, there will be a visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. March 29 at Meadows Funeral Home, 760 Highway 11 SE, Monroe. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. March 30 at St. Anna’s Catholic Church, 836 East Spring St., Monroe.
Condolences continue to pour in for the popular pediatrician who has practiced in the Loganville area since 1997.

I am so saddened by this news. Since I have worked for Walton County DFCS, she has treated many of our foster children. She was a great doctor and will be missed. I regret that I was never able to meet her in person. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and patients.

I've known Dr. Lameda since she came to Walton Cty. She was such a sweetheart and a wonderful physician. I worked with get at Walton Regional. She will b sorely missed. Prayers for her family & friends. Susan Mobley
