Colonial Buick, GMC to Break Ground in Loganville Friday

Rending gives first look of what the new dealership will look like when complete.

City officials and local dignitaries are expected in Loganville at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, for the groundbreaking ceremony of Colonial Buick, the new dealership being built in Loganville.

The dealership will be constructed by J.M. Williams Contractors. The company is no stranger to building dealerships with an impressive list of previous constructions in its gallery.

The groundbreaking will take place at 3965 Atlanta Highway, Loganville, in Gwinnett County where construction is scheduled to begin on the new dealership.

A big welcome for Colonial Buick/GMC to our Loganville community. When open and
when possible, we should look to "BUY LOCAL" to support business owners who
are willing to invest in our City. Skip Baliles

I agree Skip, I also would expect the dealership to make sure to hire locals to help rebuild our economy.

Yes David, I'm doing the followup for tomorrow - it is moving from Lawrenceville to Loganville. They will be bringing some of their staff, but still expect to hire locally too!

So happy they are moving to Loganville. We have bought our last 2 Buick's from them and it will be much closer for service. What is the anticipated opening date?

When talking with the construction company during the ground breaking ceremony,
we were told the business would be up and running in 9 months or a little less.

Hello Loganville!
My name is Bryan Milewsky and I am the Business Manager here at Colonial and have been on the team for 8 years. My family and I have lived in your area since 1993 and we are very excited about our new venture. The Loganville, Grayson, and Monroe communities have shown us very strong support in our decision to build and we look forward to opening the doors in August or September. Yes, we will bring along any staff that wishes to come but we will certainly be in need of additional employees at or shortly after grand opening. If anyone would like to send a resume as well as any desired postions, you can send them to me at bryan@colonialgmc.com. Our phone number is 770-962-1200. Thanks for your continued support. See you soon!

Been in Georgia 26 years and in Loganville 16 years and have seen Walton grow from 57,000 to over 80,000 residents and am very happy to see a large corporation being represented in the area. Many of us seniors see great opportunity to work small part time jobs as dependable workers usually no complaint of lower wages to keep busy. Welcome and look forward for opening day and another place to spend time wishing for a new vehicle on social security income!!!!!.

We will be actively pursuing qualified Sales applicants the week of May 13th. If anybody wishes to be considered, we would like to have 1 to 3 Salespeople who have previous sales experience. Preferably in the Auto industry. Resumes can be sent to bryan@colonialgmc.com.
