Body of Unknown Male Found in Refuse Trailer at Monroe Transfer Station
The case is being investigated as a homicide. Police expect to have more information in the morning after an autopsy has been performed.
The body of an unknown male was found by Monroe Public Works employees in a refuse trailer at the the transfer station off Cherry Hill Road at about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, according to a press release from the Monroe Police Department. Officials report that the City of Monroe Solid Waste Plant at this location receives refuse from surrounding jurisdictions.
The scene was secured by detectives from Monroe PD before being processed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and City Monroe Crime Scene Technicians.
Monroe Police Chief Keith Glass said in the release that the death is being investigated as a Homicide. He said more information would be available following an autopsy. No approximate age of the victim has been made known at this time.
"We hope to have more information in the morning," Glass said.

Yes Ruth they have. It was a 60-year-old man from Loganville, Raul Alayon. He was an immigrantfrom Uruguay. It was believe that he was actually picked up in the trash compactor in Loganville and transported to the transfer station in Monroe. I hope you locate the person you are looking for.
