Are You Throwing or Attending an End of Days Party on 12-21-12?

Some say it's the End of Days and others say it's just the Winter Solstice, but an excuse for a party anyway. So will you be attending or having or attending an End of Days Party on 12-21-21?

There's a popular rumor that the world will end on Dec. 21, 2012 when a 5,125-year period known as the Long Count in the Mayan calendar supposedly comes to a close. But those in the real know say it's just like when your calendar hits the end of the year - you get a new one. But for those who take the most dramatic interpretation of the day, it has spurred fears of apocalypse, solar storms, meteors, polar realignments, UFOs and other doomsday predictions.

While conspiracy theorists are stocking up on supplies and survival gear and true believers are panicking, most will just recognize that the day is Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year - all excuses to have a party anyway.

The website Doomsday Party 2012, however, is suggesting a worldwide celebration extravaganza - just in case.

So what are your plans? Will you be throwing or attending an End of Days party on Friday? Or are you an optimist and planning a New Beginnings Party for Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012.

I am, attending one that is. Actually it's a 50th, but apparently Jimmy thinks that's the end of the world. Luckily there are a few of us going who can tell him different!

No way. My Bible says the "world" does not end. The Earth must go through some changes, but the time has not yet come for all that......so the Mayans didn't have the facts straight. I would not dignify their errors with my presence at any "end of the world" event.
