A Mother’s Plea - Answered
A week after he left home, a Loganville woman's 15-year-old son was located by the Loganville Police Department.
A week after he left home, the 15-year-old son of well-known Loganville resident and founder of Operation Love From Home, Kat Orr, was located by the Loganville Police Department Friday.
Jacob Forker was found not far from Orr's home in Loganville and taken into police custody. The teen had been in trouble recently and will have to answer to the juvenile courts before being allowed to return to his home. However, since he is a juvenile and authorities are not at liberty to comment on any cases involving a specific juvenile, no further information will be available from the LPD. Orr gave out the name and photo of her son in an effort to solicit help in finding him. She said she is very relieved he has been found and is grateful to the community for their support.
"I want to thank everyone in the community for their kind words of support, prayers and well-wishes during this very scary and difficult time," Orr said. "I especially want to thank Detective Wesley Massey, Lt. Joseph Cantrell, and the entire Loganville Police Department for their hard work, total dedication, and patience with a frantic and petrified mother. Our church, Holy Cross Anglican Church, likewise carried us through this very rough week with unparallelled, amazing amounts of support and prayer! Thanks and much love to everyone."

definitely EXTREMELY relieved. I still haven't seen him yet- won't till court Monday - but it's OK. I know he's reasonably safe and can't run off for the next thirty days or so. :) now prayers continue that he'll learn from this, and not do such a hair-brained thing again!!!!!!

Just know that there are a lot of people going through the same thing. My son is now 17 and he did the same things and ended up in the juvenile courts. He started running away when he was 15 years old and it's cause a lot of disruption in the family. Things get better, but it's not even near where I'd like it to be for my son. good luck to you & ur family

I know I'm not the only one going thru this for sure... the courts are just chock-ful of parents/teens every time I go there. :( Lots of heartbeak to go around. I keep wondering... how can I have one that graduated from high school, and one heading to juvie at the exact sime time??? Argh! But, Romans 8:28 is still valid today, and God is still at work in all situations, and GOD IS STILL GOOD, even while Life isn't so much. :)
