Tom Kirby to run for Georgia House District 107 seat
Tom Kirby publicly announced that he will be a candidate for Georgia House District 107 as soon as the Governor’s office calls for the Special election.
As a true conservative Tom said that the 2 solid principles that he follows are; Less Government and Fiscal Responsibility. “Government at all levels has grown way too much in the last 40 years”, Tom said. “It does not matter if we are talking about the federal government, state government, county, city or even your HOA or neighborhood government., we need less government in our lives and to restore our personal liberties”.
Tom stated that fiscal responsibility is more than simply balancing the budget. “Georgia requires that we have a balanced budget, but fiscal responsibility means that we spend the people’s money on necessary government, those services that government should be performing and not adding to the bureaucracy.”
“Good government is about Doing things Right And Doing the Right things.”
Tom Kirby has developed his integrity, values and sense of civic purpose through a lifetime of hard work, family and business. Growing up, he learned the value of hard work on the family’s cattle farm. His extensive involvement in athletics, 4-H, church, and community, planted the seeds early for his lifelong passions and pursuits. After graduation from Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana, he went on to the University of Kentucky earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics.
