Loganville Kroger gets new Hometown Pharmacist
As the newest pharmacist at the Loganville Crossing Kroger on Atlanta Highway, Slade Johnson – a second-generation pharmacist from Loganville, Ga. – will continue to administer the same doses of happiness he has served local customers for more than 20 years.
“Kroger is committed to providing our customers with exceptional customer service,” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “With associates like Slade Johnson, who is a registered pharmacist and a dedicated member of the Loganville community, Kroger can continue to honor this commitment. We are grateful to welcome Mr. Johnson to our team.”
Before joining the Loganville Crossing pharmacy team, Johnson served Loganville residents for 23 years at local pharmacies, including Johnson’s Pharmacy – which was established by his father, Lanier Johnson.
“His experience and passion for our community makes Slade the ideal candidate for the job and we are pleased to add him to the team,” says Richie Taylor, store manager of the Loganville Crossing Kroger. “We welcome customers to get to know Mr. Johnson and our other pharmacists and to learn how Kroger can help satisfy their pharmacy needs.”
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Johnson grew up in Loganville and graduated from Loganville High School in 1984. He lives in Loganville with his wife and four children.
