DEMOREST, GA (08/02/2012)(readMedia)-- At its recent July commencement ceremony, Piedmont College in Demorest, Ga., awarded degrees to 349 students. Among the graduates were the following area residents:

• Sherri Lynn Cook of Loganville, earned a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education

• Anna Lauren Cordell of Grayson, earned an Education Specialist degree

• Susan Leigh Floyd of Grayson, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Early Childhood Education

• Elizabeth Mary Harmon of Loganville, earned a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education

• Laura Elizabeth Hughes of Grayson, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Secondary Mathematics Education

• Kimberly Ann McTeer of Grayson, earned an Education Specialist degree

• Donna Marie Pharis of Loganville, earned an Education Specialist degree

• Ashley Elizabeth Stanton of Loganville, earned a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education
